Engineered Hardwood Flooring Installation Process

Engineered hardwood flooring installation begins with a thorough inspection and preparation of the subfloor to ensure it is clean, dry, level, and structurally sound. Moisture testing is performed to verify proper conditions before installation. Depending on the product and job requirements, engineered hardwood can be installed using glue-down, nail-down, or floating installation methods. A moisture barrier or underlayment may be added for additional protection and sound reduction. The flooring planks are carefully measured, cut, and installed to create a seamless and natural appearance. Once installation is complete, moldings and transitions are added for a finished look. Engineered hardwood offers excellent stability and can be installed in areas where traditional solid hardwood may not be recommended.

Laminate Flooring Installation Process

Laminate flooring installation starts with proper subfloor preparation, including cleaning, leveling, and moisture inspection. An underlayment is installed to improve comfort, reduce noise, and provide moisture protection. Laminate flooring is commonly installed as a floating floor system using a click-lock mechanism that securely connects each plank without the need for nails or glue. Planks are precisely cut and arranged to achieve a balanced and visually appealing layout. Expansion gaps are maintained around walls and fixed objects to allow for natural movement caused by temperature and humidity changes. After installation, trim pieces and baseboards are installed to complete the project. Laminate flooring provides the look of natural wood or stone with exceptional durability and low maintenance.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Installation Process

Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring installation begins with preparing a smooth, dry, and level subfloor to ensure maximum performance and durability. Depending on the product type, LVP flooring may be installed as a floating click-lock system or with a glue-down application. An underlayment or moisture barrier may be installed when required to improve comfort and moisture protection. The vinyl planks are measured and installed with precision to create a realistic hardwood appearance while maintaining waterproof performance. Expansion spacing and proper alignment are carefully maintained throughout the installation process. Once completed, transition strips and finishing moldings are installed to provide a clean and professional appearance. LVP flooring is highly resistant to moisture, scratches, and daily wear, making it an ideal solution for residential and commercial spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic areas.
